Acorns
Welcome to the Acorns class page!
Welcome to our friendly and inviting unit for children will complex communication and sensory needs. We are based in the school house. Acorns is for children in the early years provision. The children who access Acorns also access our mainstream Reception class to access the curriculum and Physical Development. It enables children to make significant developmental progress in a playful environment in a smaller class with a high staff ratio. We work in partnership with children, parents/carers and other agencies to provide the best possible outcomes for all our children.
All the staff in Acorns have completed training in Autism tier level 1 and 2 and are qualified in intensive interaction.
