PE

Our PE days are Monday (indoor) and Wednesday (outdoor). Children will be expected to come to school wearing their kit on these days.

 PE Kit – plain black shorts/ track bottoms, plain white t-shirt, plain black jumper or zipped jacket and trainers. No earrings.

Homework

Please make sure you read your child's school reading book with them for at least 10 minutes per day. Reading is a 'building block' on which much of their other learning rests, and regular reading at home makes a huge difference in the classroom. 

Children will receive spellings to learn at home every Friday and they will be tested on these words the following week. Children are also expected to go on Times Table Rockstars at least once a week.

Curriculum

Our Geography topic this term is London

We will look at the difference between a village, city, country and continent, as well as remembering the other capital cities in the UK.

In Science will be be learning all about materials!

In maths we will be learning to read, write and count to 100. We will be looking at tens and ones within numbers to 100. We will also be learning to add and subtract within 100 and practising number bonds to and within 10 and 20.
