PE

Our PE days are Monday (indoor) and Wednesday (outdoor). Children will be expected to come to school wearing their kit on these days.

 PE Kit – plain black shorts/ track bottoms, plain white t-shirt, plain black jumper or zipped jacket and trainers. No earrings.

Homework

Please make sure you read your child's school reading book with them for at least 10 minutes per day. Reading is a 'building block' on which much of their other learning rests, and regular reading at home makes a huge difference in the classroom. 

Children will receive spellings to learn at home every Friday , and they will be tested on these words the following week. Children are also expected to go to Times Table Rockstars at least once a week.

Curriculum

Our History topic this term is The Explorers.

In History, our topic for this half-term is The Explorers. We will be learning about who Ernest Shackleton was and what he did, as well as discussing what life was like between 1907 and 1917.
